More pink & cream cards

I'm on a bit of a pink & cream roll today!

Birthday Cards

I made these pink & creamy birthday cards on friday. I'm trying to de-stash a bit, so I'm just grabbing random things from my stash, and using them up. I thought these were quite pretty. I don't know where I got the butterflies from, but I really like them and would love some more. I've got a suspicion they were free with a mag, so probably won't find them anywhere.

For the happy birthday I used a cuttlebug embossing die, then rubbed ink over it. I think it looks like a loveheart sweet!

Sock Monster

Lad who I made the Ninja monkey for requested a sock monster for his birthday, so here is Socky! (and yes, it has been pointed out to me by several people that it looks like a cat!

Sing-along-a-sack...

For the past week I've been sewing every tea break at work to create these. All made of felt & fleece, they are for a 'Nursery Rhyme Sack' for the children's library. The idea is that at Rhymetime the children pull one out of the sacks, and they sing the song. Makes Rhymetime different each week! I've still got to make the sack, but here's the innards:

A group shot! There are 12 altogether.

Row row row your boat....
(Yes, I know its a sailing boat, but you try making a rowing boat out of felt - it just looks like a log!)

Hickory dickory dock....

5 Little ducks went swimming one day...

Wibble wobble jelly on a plate...
(didn't come out too bad!)

Incy wincy spider...
(you will notice he only has 6 legs. This is because I am terrified of spiders, and can only cope with 'comedy' ones!)

Here Be Dragons...

Been trying to come up with ideas for this years SRC 'Quest Seekers'. Have decided one thing - a big dragon on the wall, with the kids decorating scales to stick on. Basically, a 'Decorate a Dragon Party'.

I came up with this sketch for the face while waiting for the computer in the Land Far Away to turn on...

I think he's got a really cute face - kind of reminds me of someone, but can't think who!

Unfortunately its on a 5x3 index card, so now I'll have to work out how to enlarge it to at least A2 size, if not bigger!
